Uniform

We try to make uniform as informal as possible with a sweatshirt and polo shirts as well as jumpers and shirts or blouses. Our colours are royal blue with grey and white. We do ask that all items of clothing are named to avoid time and frustration! Children should also wear dark, plain school shoes that are safe for daily wear and appropriate for playtimes outside. Please avoid high-heeled or heavy boots that can be uncomfortable for children running and can also be unsafe.

The school has two stockists of uniform with our logo on - Brigade and Cat Balou, both in town. Each has a website where you can order directly as well. We also hold a small selection of jumpers and cardigans, as well as book bags, in the school office if you wish to pop in to check sizes or buy direct from us.

Items of unbranded uniform (white polo shirts, grey trousers/skirts, and plain royal blue jumpers/sweatshirts) are also available at local supermarkets.

Here are a few of our pupils modelling their schoolwear:

PE uniform

On PE days, we ask children to come in wearing their PE kit. All items of P.E. uniform can be purchased from local supermarkets.

Our PE uniform consists of the following items:

  • a white t-shirt

  • black shorts, leggings or jogging bottoms

  • black pumps or trainers

  • a black jumper, hoodie or fleece

  • Children with long hair should also be able to tie their hair back safely with a plain band (or come with it tied up) before the lesson to avoid accidents.

  • Children should not be wearing jewellery, watches or earrings during PE sessions.

Our PE uniform ensures that the children are dressed appropriately for their PE lessons and we expect all children to wear this kit. Football strips and large slogans are not considered PE uniform.

When children are working in the hall learning gymnastics skills, they will work in bare feet for safety reasons. If your child is unable to work in bare feet for medical reasons, please inform the class teacher.
