In Key Stage 1, we develop and embed an understanding of what it means to be a scientist and how to conduct scientific enquiries. We also begin to develop scientific knowledge and understanding in the context of thematic units of study. These units cover a range of topics to introduce foundational knowledge, language and concepts in biology, chemistry and physics.
